Rev. Duane R. Somero & Carrie
NNE District Deaf Representative/Missionary
Duane Somero is an Assembly of God Deaf pastor ordained in May 2001. He currently serves part-time as a Deaf pastor in the Hands of Grace Deaf Ministry at Community Bible Church in South Burlington, VT. In 1995, he received a BA degree in Deaf Culture Ministries Christian Studies from the Deaf International Bible College at North Central University in Minneapolis, MN. In 1998, he received a MA degree in Pastoral Care from Bethel Theological Seminary, St. Paul, MN. Carrie travels with Duane to voice interpret when he preaches in American Sign Language at churches.
Deaf missionary serving Northern New England A/G District and abroad. His travels began in 2002 around the U. S., then to Kenya in 2005 and Nigeria in March 2007.
Duane has been appointed as a Northeastern regional officer with the National Deaf Culture Fellowship AG serving the Northeast US area.
